We are looking for an experienced DevOps Practice Lead to join the HSBC team and take our DevOps processes and practices to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving and a deep understanding of DevOps and its core principles.To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in IT operations and engineering with an emphasis on DevOps. You should possess excellent knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform. Additionally, you should be familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and have strong communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the DevOps practice, including developing and implementing strategies and processes that align with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of DevOps solutions.
- Implement automation frameworks and ensure CI/CD pipelines are running smoothly.
- Develop and maintain system and application architecture diagrams.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure DevOps processes are aligned with other IT teams' objectives.
- Troubleshoot and debug DevOps related issues.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide technical guidance.
- Keep current on emerging technologies and industry trends.
