Data Modeler
Actively engage with DAO, GB/GF, and other stakeholders in information requirements elicitation sessions to identify and define metadata, systems, and system lineage (for a given context, "criticality assignment"). Develop and maintain Concept Models that integrate with the enterprise Business Information Model. Map data sets, data elements, as well as logical and physical data models, to the Business Information Model. Own and drive extensions and modifications to the enterprise Business Information Model, including attaining data governance review approval. Define and manage business vocabularies, taxonomies, and definitions; monitor completeness and quality of critical metadata. Refine and implement data modeling standards, tools, best practices, and related techniques.
5 + years Data Management and Governance experience, particularly in the areas of Taxonomy Management
5+ years of experience in Concept Modeling, as well as Conceptual and Logical Data Modeling - ERD and/or UML
Strong knowledge of metadata management and associated tools such as Collibra.
Experience with defining, implementing and modeling data management and metadata requirements.
Knowledge of Financial Services Industry models such as FIBO, BIAN, etc. is a plus
