- Conduct internal audits of the International Wealth and Premier Banking division at HSBC, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the division's operations, risks, and control processes.
- Lead and manage a team of auditors, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure efficient and effective completion of audits.
- Identify areas of improvement in the division's processes and procedures and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Communicate audit findings to senior management and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to risk management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

- Provide training and support to junior auditors to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Represent HSBC in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Extensive Knowledge Of International Banking Regulations: The Audit Manager Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Regulatory Landscape In Various Countries And Regions, Including But Not Limited To Anti-Money Laundering Laws, Tax Laws, And Financial Reporting Requirements.
Strong Leadership And People Management Skills: The Role Involves Managing A Team Of Auditors Across Different Locations, Therefore, The Ideal Candidate Must Have Proven Experience In Leading And Motivating A Diverse Team To Achieve Common Goals.
Experience In Wealth Management And Premier Banking: To Effectively Oversee The Audit Function For Hsbc's International Wealth And Premier Banking Division, The Candidate Must Have Prior Experience In Auditing Or Working In A Similar Capacity Within The Wealth Management And Premier Banking Sector.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Audit Manager Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Control Weaknesses In The Bank's Operations. They Must Also Be Able To Develop Effective Solutions To Mitigate These Risks.
