  1. Develop and implement effective audit plans and strategies for the Corporate & Institutional Banking division in line with HSBC's policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of the division's internal controls, processes, and procedures to identify any potential risks or deficiencies.
  3. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with various teams within the organization to ensure timely completion of audits and follow-up on any identified issues.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in the division's operations and processes.
  6. Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, risks, and areas for improvement.
  7. Train and mentor junior members of the audit team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  8. Identify opportunities to optimize processes and procedures within the division, leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Act as a liaison with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
  10. Continuously monitor and assess the division's risk profile and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Audit And Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Audit And Risk Management In The Banking Industry, With A Focus On Corporate And Institutional Banking. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Auditing Principles, Risk Assessment Methodologies, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Corporate And Institutional Banking Operations: The Audit Manager Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Products, Services, And Processes Involved In Corporate And Institutional Banking. They Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, And Operational Risk.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Issues Within The Business Operations. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Provide Effective Solutions To Mitigate Risks And Improve Processes.

  • Proven Leadership And Team Management Abilities: The Audit Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Auditors And Managing Their Performance. Hence, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Guide The Team Towards Achieving Common Goals.
