  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all relevant laws and regulations in the financial industry.
  2. Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes on HSBC's operations and communicate any potential risks to senior management.
  3. Collaborate with various departments within HSBC to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure that HSBC's policies and procedures are in line with regulatory requirements.
  5. Identify any potential compliance issues and work with the relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  6. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters, including conducting compliance training programs.
  7. Keep abreast of industry best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement of HSBC's compliance program.
  8. Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate responses to any inquiries or requests.
  9. Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  10. Lead and participate in compliance projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  12. Conduct internal investigations and handle any compliance-related incidents or breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements to proactively identify potential compliance risks.
  14. Uphold the highest ethical standards and promote a culture of compliance within HSBC.
  15. Represent HSBC in compliance-related meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Compliance, Preferably In The Financial Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance Laws And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Dodd-Frank, Bsa/Aml, And Ofac.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Regulators And Internal Teams.

  • Proven Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Oversee A Team And Handle Complex Compliance Issues In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
