  1. Lead and manage the actuarial team in developing pricing strategies for the health insurance portfolio.
  2. Oversee the management of the health insurance portfolio, including risk assessment and monitoring.
  3. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for pricing and risk management.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in healthcare policies to ensure compliance.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and internal departments.
  7. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations for the health insurance portfolio.
  8. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy within the actuarial team.
  9. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  10. Support business strategies and initiatives by providing actuarial insights and expertise.
  11. Communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve pricing and risk management strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  13. Maintain a thorough understanding of HSBC's products and services, as well as industry trends and developments.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as actuarial standards and regulations.
  15. Represent HSBC at industry events and conferences to stay informed and share knowledge with the broader actuarial community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Actuarial Roles Within The Health Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Health Insurance Pricing And Portfolio Management Principles.

  • Experience With Actuarial Modeling Software, Such As Sas Or R.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Communicate Complex Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
