  1. Provide exceptional customer service to overseas Indian customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Serve as a primary point of contact for overseas Indian customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
  3. Understand the needs and preferences of overseas Indian customers and provide them with tailored financial solutions.
  4. Assist customers with various banking transactions, including account openings, fund transfers, and foreign exchange services.
  5. Stay updated on banking policies, products, and services to effectively communicate and promote them to customers.
  6. Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.
  7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  8. Conduct market research and stay informed about the Indian market and culture to better understand customers' needs and preferences.
  9. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain overseas Indian customers.
  10. Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction and feedback, making recommendations for improvement.
  11. Train and mentor team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines in the banking industry.
  13. Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance targets and contribute to the overall success of the Overseas Indian Support team.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of The Indian Market And Culture: As An Assistant Manager Overseas Indian Support, One Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Indian Market And Culture, Including Business Practices, Customs, And Regulations. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Providing Efficient Support To Hsbc's Indian Clients.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As The Primary Point Of Contact For Hsbc's Indian Clients, An Assistant Manager Overseas Indian Support Must Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written. This Includes Fluency In English And Any Other Commonly Spoken Indian Languages.

  • Experience In Customer Service: Previous Experience In Customer Service Is A Must For This Role. The Assistant Manager Overseas Indian Support Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Positive Relationships With Hsbc's Indian Clients And Addressing Any Issues Or Concerns They May Have. Therefore, Strong Customer Service Skills Are Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Banking Products And Services: In Order To Effectively Support Hsbc's Indian Clients, The Assistant Manager Overseas Indian Support Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Bank's Products And Services. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Types Of Accounts, Loans, And Other Financial Products.

  • Proven Leadership Skills: Due To The Managerial Nature Of This Role, Candidates Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Make Decisions In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. Previous Experience In A Leadership Role Is Highly Preferred.
