- Conduct thorough research and analysis of regulatory requirements and ensure that HSBC is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and review internal policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigating actions.
- Collaborate with different teams across the organization to implement and maintain compliance initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and updates, and communicate them effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and tests to assess the effectiveness of compliance measures.
- Prepare reports and presentations on compliance status and make recommendations for improvement.

Knowledge Of Regulatory Framework: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Frameworks, Including But Not Limited To, Basel Iii, Dodd-Frank Act, And Mifid Ii.
Risk Management Skills: The Role Requires The Ability To Identify, Assess, And Mitigate Regulatory Compliance Risks. Candidates Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Have Experience In Designing Effective Controls And Procedures.
Analytical Skills: The Analyst Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Regulations And Identify Their Impact On The Business. This Includes The Ability To Interpret Data, Perform Gap Analysis, And Provide Recommendations For Compliance.
Communication And Collaboration: Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Regulatory Requirements To Different Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Experience In Financial Services: Previous Experience In A Similar Role Within The Financial Services Industry Is Preferred. Familiarity With Hsbc’s Policies And Procedures, As Well As Knowledge Of The Banking Industry’s Regulatory Environment, Would Be Beneficial.
