Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

The Houston Methodist system is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer to lead our cybersecurity efforts and ensure that we are well-protected from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity protocols and a demonstrated commitment to staying up to date on the latest security trends.We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least 10 years of experience in information security and/or related fields. The Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer must have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing security policies and protocols, and in managing security teams. A strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding information security is also essential.The Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer will be a key leader in the Houston Methodist system, and we require a professional with the skills and experience necessary to lead a team, build relationships, and develop robust security strategies. The individual in this position should be a self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as an uncompromising commitment to protecting the security of our systems and data, are essential.
