Job Description

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced and motivated Vascular Technologist to join our team! We are a world-renowned health care organization, and we are looking for a professional with the technical knowledge and personal skills necessary to provide quality care to our patients.The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree in vascular technology or a related field, along with certification from a recognized vascular technology association. They should also have a minimum of two years of experience in the field of vascular technology, as well as a knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of diagnostic vascular imaging tests according to standard protocols
  2. Operate sophisticated diagnostic imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner
  3. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  5. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
  6. Assist in the training of new staff members in the operation of vascular imaging equipment
  7. Follow quality assurance and safety protocols
  8. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and requirements
  9. Maintain current knowledge of vascular technology best practices and developments
  10. Participate in continuing education opportunities as needed
