
Vascular Technologist
Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced and motivated Vascular Technologist to join our team! We are a world-renowned health care organization, and we are looking for a professional with the technical knowledge and personal skills necessary to provide quality care to our patients.The successful candidate will possess an associate’s degree in vascular technology or a related field, along with certification from a recognized vascular technology association. They should also have a minimum of two years of experience in the field of vascular technology, as well as a knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic vascular imaging tests according to standard protocols
- Operate sophisticated diagnostic imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
- Assist in the training of new staff members in the operation of vascular imaging equipment
- Follow quality assurance and safety protocols
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of vascular technology best practices and developments
- Participate in continuing education opportunities as needed
