Supervisor - Supply Chain

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join Houston Methodist as a Supervisor - Supply Chain. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of supply chain management, as well as the ability to effectively manage personnel in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain operations, providing guidance and direction to staff, and overseeing the inventory process.The successful candidate for this position should have the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and multitask. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working in a team setting, and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should also have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies and procedures for efficient supply chain operations
• Supervise and provide guidance to supply chain personnel
• Oversee the inventory process to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor customer service levels and resolve any supply chain-related issues
• Create and manage budgets and forecasts
• Maintain communication with other departments to ensure supply chain goals are met
• Analyze and recommend process changes to improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Train and mentor new and existing staff members
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and suppliers
