Sr Financial Analyst

We are looking for a talented and experienced Sr Financial Analyst to join the Houston Methodist team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and reporting financial data and providing financial advice and support to the organization. The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of financial analysis and a strong understanding of financial principles. The successful Sr Financial Analyst should possess a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically and effectively problem-solve.Required qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field with at least five years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. Knowledge of financial software such as Microsoft Excel and other business software is also required. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess strong organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to work well with a team and independently.

3. Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
4. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
5. Maintain and monitor internal controls.
6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
7. Evaluate and recommend investments and other financial opportunities.
8. Prepare and present financial analysis to senior management.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
10. Utilize financial software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) to prepare financial reports and models.
