Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker PRN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing excellent service. The Social Worker PRN will be responsible for addressing the psychosocial needs of our patients and their families. The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, be licensed by the state of Texas, and have at least two years of experience in a healthcare setting. The Social Worker PRN will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team setting, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide psychosocial support to patients and families in a healthcare setting.
  2. Assess the emotional and social needs of patients and their families.
  3. Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of patients and their families.
  4. Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
  5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families.
  7. Participate in regular meetings and training sessions.
  8. Stay up to date on current best practices in the field of social work.
  9. Maintain all necessary records and documentation related to patient care.
  10. Adhere to all relevant ethical and legal standards in social work practice.
