Job Description

The Senior Quality Outcomes Specialist at Houston Methodist will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality improvement initiatives and healthcare operations, and will be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of patients. We are looking for someone who can think critically and analytically, make sound decisions, and develop innovative solutions. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. The following qualifications are required:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives related to quality improvement, patient safety, and other related outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure organizational compliance to standards and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality standards are met
  • Lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work with different departments to ensure best practices are being followed
  • Develop and implement educational programs for staff related to quality improvement
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
