
Respiratory Care Practitioner
At Houston Methodist, we are looking for a talented and passionate Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team and provide excellent patient care. Our ideal candidate will bring strong experience in respiratory care, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to quality patient care.The Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide evaluation, treatment, and education to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. This individual will perform diagnostic testing, administer medications, and provide direct patient care, as well as collaborate with other members of the healthcare team.We are looking for a candidate who is a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program, is licensed by the Texas Medical Board, and is certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of disease processes, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies to patients.
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify and diagnose cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Educate patients and families about cardiopulmonary disorders and treatments.
- Collaborate and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of disease processes.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a valid licensure from the Texas Medical Board and certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Care
