Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Research Technician - Radiology to join our team at Houston Methodist. In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties in support of the research processes conducted by the Radiology Department. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least two years of experience in a research laboratory setting, with a strong interest and experience in imaging techniques and methods. You must also possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a variety of technical duties in support of the research processes conducted by the Radiology Department.
  2. Utilize imaging techniques and methods in a research laboratory setting.
  3. Maintain accurate records and data of research processes.
  4. Maintain and monitor research equipment and supplies.
  5. Develop protocols for research projects.
  6. Follow all safety protocols while conducting research.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and personnel to ensure successful research outcomes.
  8. Prepare and present research data for review.
  9. Follow up with research participants to ensure compliance with research protocols.
  10. Utilize excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiology

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Or Physics
