Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to be our Research Coordinator - Vascular at Houston Methodist. In this role you will coordinate clinical research studies to ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the research process, including protocol development, monitoring research studies, and managing research staff.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in clinical research. It is essential that you have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with an interest in research and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:

  1. Developing clinical research protocols and managing the research process from start to finish.
  2. Monitoring research studies to ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  3. Managing research staff to ensure that research activities are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure research studies are in compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Analyzing data from research studies to develop reports and presentations.
  6. Developing and managing research budgets.
  7. Assisting in the preparation of grant applications and reports.
  8. Managing and maintaining research databases.
  9. Working with faculty and other staff to ensure research studies are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  10. Assisting in the development of new research initiatives.
