
Research Assistant - Orthopedics
The Houston Methodist Hospital is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Research Assistant to join the Orthopedics team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned physicians and contribute to research initiatives impacting the field of orthopedics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for research, strong technical skills, and an aptitude for problem solving.The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, anatomy, or kinesiology. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, and a strong knowledge of the medical field, preferably with experience in orthopedics. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team is essential. Knowledge of data analysis software, such as Excel, is preferred.The Research Assistant will play a key role in helping to advance the field of orthopedics by gathering and analyzing data, designing study protocols, and helping to disseminate research findings.
