Houston Methodist is seeking a dynamic and research-minded individual to join our Neurology team as a Research Assistant.In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated medical professionals to assist in the design and execution of research initiatives related to neuroscience and neurology. You will be responsible for performing data collection and analysis, designing and running experiments, preparing manuscripts, and presenting research findings.To be successful in this position, you must be detail-oriented and have a strong aptitude for problem-solving. You should also possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, such as neuroscience, biology, or chemistry, is preferred, but not required.If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the field of neurology, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform data collection and analysis, design and run experiments, and prepare manuscripts.
  2. Present research findings.

  6. Analyze data to identify trends and develop conclusions.
  7. Work with a team of dedicated medical professionals to assist in the design and execution of research initiatives related to neuroscience and neurology.
  8. Adhere to all rules, regulations, and protocols related to research.
  9. Remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of neurology.
  10. Participate in conferences, workshops, and other events related to neurology.
