Job Description

Our ideal candidate is a passionate and driven professional with experience in wound care and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.The Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Wound Care is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with wounds, skin problems, and related skin conditions. The RN will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care. The RN will also provide patient and family education, complete documentation, and maintain performance standards.The ideal candidate for this role will have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license in the state of Texas, and a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in wound care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with wounds, skin problems, and related skin conditions.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
  3. Provide patient and family education.
  4. Complete documentation and maintain performance standards.
  5. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
