Job Description

The Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced Project Specialist - Faculty Affairs to join its team of professionals. As the Project Specialist - Faculty Affairs, you will be responsible for supporting and managing Faculty Affairs initiatives. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Project Specialist - Faculty Affairs will demonstrate a deep understanding of project management principles and a commitment to excellence. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • At least two years of project coordination or project management experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities: • Manage and support Faculty Affairs initiatives • Create and maintain project plans • Track progress of projects and ensure deadlines are met • Monitor project budget and ensure accuracy of data • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve project goals • Keep stakeholders informed on project progress and changes • Develop and maintain relationships with Faculty Affairs personnel • Analyze data and provide reports to management • Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
