Job Description

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our growing Orthopedic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional clinical care while performing a wide range of surgical procedures on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The ideal candidate for this role will have advanced training and significant experience in orthopedic surgery, and demonstrate a dedication to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for their work. Required Qualifications:• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited program• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery• Fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities: • Perform surgical procedures on the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder • Provide exceptional clinical care to patients • Maintain current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas • Demonstrate a dedication to providing the highest quality of care to patients • Maintain a strong work ethic • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Stay current in advances in orthopedic surgery • Participate in patient education and community outreach programs
