Job Description

Are you a Registered Nurse looking for an exciting new challenge? Houston Methodist is looking for an experienced Occupational Health RN PRN to join our team. As an Occupational Health RN PRN, you will provide nursing care to employees and visitors of Houston Methodist and serve as a resource for the Occupational Health Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our employees, while also being a positive and professional presence in the workplace.To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. In addition, you must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year of experience in Occupational Health, as well as knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide nursing care to employees and visitors of Houston Methodist.
  2. Serve as a resource for the Occupational Health Department.
  3. Provide quality care to our employees.
  4. Maintain a positive and professional presence in the workplace.
  5. Possess a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  6. Have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year of experience in Occupational Health.
  7. Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
  8. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Effectively prioritize tasks.
