Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Monitor Technician to join the exceptional team at Houston Methodist. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting patient data to ensure patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about the care of others.The successful Monitor Technician at Houston Methodist should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or healthcare environment, a background in healthcare technology, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Candidates should also have experience with a wide variety of monitoring systems, as well as the ability to effectively interpret and report patient data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor, analyze, and report patient data to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  2. Maintain and operate a variety of monitoring systems.
  3. Interpret and report patient data accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure patient data is entered into the appropriate systems in a secure and accurate manner.
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  6. Provide quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and regulations.
  7. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other healthcare staff.
  8. Maintain a high level of knowledge in healthcare technology and patient care.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
