- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Prepare and handle specimens for testing, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Record and document test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper collection and handling of specimens.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to strict laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that may arise during testing procedures.
- Continuously monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Train and assist new laboratory staff as needed.
- Stay updated on new laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment to enhance patient care and improve efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Comply with all HIPAA and other privacy regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as safety and infection control guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Laboratory Assistant In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Current Certification As A Medical Laboratory Assistant (Mla) From A Recognized Credentialing Agency.
Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Including Phlebotomy And Specimen Processing.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Report Laboratory Test Results.
