Responsibilities: • Assist with patient care and clerical duties in the Rheumatology department • Maintain patient records, charts, and files • Accurately enter data into electronic medical records system • Assist with patient examinations, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures • Prepare and stock medical materials and supplies • Provide patient education and instructions • Follow all HIPAA regulations and other medical protocols • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries • Follow all safety protocols in the medical office setting • Maintain a clean and orderly work area • Perform other administrative tasks as needed
