- Oversee and manage all aspects of the maternal program, ensuring that it aligns with the mission and values of Houston Methodist.
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the quality of care provided by the maternal program.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to patients.
- Collaborate with other departments and medical personnel to ensure the integration of maternal care into the overall healthcare system of Houston Methodist.
- Monitor and analyze data related to the maternal program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance the program's effectiveness.
- Build relationships with community organizations and partners to enhance outreach and education efforts related to maternal health.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including those related to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practices.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff members within the maternal program.
- Develop and maintain budgetary plans for the maternal program, ensuring the efficient use of resources to achieve desired outcomes.
- Remain up-to-date on current research, trends, and best practices in maternal health to inform the development and implementation of evidence-based care.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring that their needs are being met.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the maternal program and raise awareness of services offered.
- Attend and participate in meetings and committees related to maternal health, representing Houston Methodist in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all activities and initiatives related to the maternal program.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Maternal Or Women's Health Program Management.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Best Practices In Maternal Care And Evidence-Based Guidelines.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Multiple Departments.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Patients, Staff, And Community Partners.
