Job Description

Houston Methodist is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Manager Contracting- Supply Chain to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of supply chain contracting, including executing and monitoring the performance of contracts and leading supply chain process improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in supply chain and contract management. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment.If you’re passionate about supply chain and contract management, and have the ambition to help Houston Methodist reach its goals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities for this job include:

  1. Executing and monitoring the performance of supply chain contracts.
  2. Leading supply chain process improvement initiatives.
  3. Analyzing and solving complex supply chain problems.
  4. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to supply chain contracting.
  6. Developing and managing budgets related to supply chain contracts.
  7. Identifying and pursuing opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
  8. Managing and coordinating the activities of staff and teams involved in supply chain contracting.
  9. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  10. Providing training, guidance, and support to staff and teams working in supply chain contracting.
