- Create and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum for various clinical roles, incorporating best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify educational needs and develop customized training plans to address specific areas of improvement.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive educational materials, utilizing various formats such as lectures, hands-on workshops, and online modules.
- Coordinate and facilitate orientation programs for new clinical staff, providing them with a thorough understanding of our organization's mission, values, and policies.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of educational programs to measure their effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of staff training and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to clinical staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Collaborate with external organizations and vendors to bring in new educational resources and opportunities for staff.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in clinical education, incorporating them into our training programs as appropriate.
Extensive Clinical Experience: A Manager Clinical Education At Houston Methodist Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Current Practices And Procedures.
Education And Training Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Nursing, Education, Or Healthcare Administration. Additional Certifications In Education Or Training Are Also Preferred.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Role Of A Manager Clinical Education Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Lead A Team, Manage Budgets, And Develop And Implement Training Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Key Liaison Between Clinical Staff, Management, And External Partners, The Manager Clinical Education Should Possess Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Build Relationships.
Knowledge Of Regulatory And Accreditation Requirements: A Solid Understanding Of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards, Such As The Joint Commission And Cms, Is Essential For This Role To Ensure Compliance And Maintain High-Quality Education Programs.
