  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with urological conditions.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
  4. Assist with urology procedures and surgeries.
  5. Educate patients and their families on urological conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  8. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  10. Continuously improve knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  12. Act as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  14. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice.
  15. Serve as a positive representative of Houston Methodist by providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  16. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  17. Attend staff meetings and actively participate in departmental activities.
  18. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Lvn License In The State Of Texas

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Urology Setting

  • Knowledge Of Urology Procedures And Treatments, Including Catheterization And Urodynamic Testing

  • Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information And Maintain Patient Confidentiality

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Team Members.
