Are you a highly motivated and experienced Lead Transporter looking to join an award-winning team in the heart of Houston? Houston Methodist is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team as a Lead Transporter. The Lead Transporter is a critical role that will ensure the efficient and safe transport of patients and medical equipment throughout the hospital. This individual must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have an attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of experience in the transportation field and a proven record of providing outstanding patient-centered care. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the efficient and safe transport of patients and medical equipment throughout the hospital.
  2. Provide outstanding patient-centered care.
  3. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
  4. Maintain an attention to detail.
  5. Ensure that all safety protocols are being adhered to.
  6. Liaise with staff and patients to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process.
  7. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the transportation vehicles.
  8. Monitor the transportation vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  9. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
  10. Respond to patient and staff inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
