  1. Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of respiratory care practitioners, providing guidance, training, and support.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  5. Ensure all respiratory equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
  6. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and techniques.
  7. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of respiratory therapy.
  8. Coordinate and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing new protocols and procedures.
  11. Serve as a resource for staff and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Ensure a safe and clean work environment for both patients and staff.
  15. Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Care Practitioner, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid License As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) In The State Of Texas.

  • Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) As A Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt) Or Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Respiratory Care Practitioners.
