Job Description

The Lead Cardiology Diagnostic Technician role at Houston Methodist is a unique opportunity to use your expertise in cardiology diagnostics to help make a difference in the lives of our patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of cardiology diagnostics, as well as expertise in the use of diagnostic equipment and technology. In addition, the Lead Cardiology Diagnostic Technician must have strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently and in teams, and a passion for providing outstanding service to our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Execute cardiology diagnostic procedures with accuracy and precision.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot all cardiology diagnostic equipment.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
  4. Supervise and mentor less experienced cardiology diagnostic technicians.
  5. Provide patient education regarding cardiology diagnostic tests and related treatments.
  6. Adhere to all safety and quality standards while performing procedures.
  7. Liaise with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  8. Compile patient records and documents with accuracy and professionalism.
  9. Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and customer service excellence.
  10. Participate in continuing education opportunities to keep abreast of the latest developments in cardiology diagnostics.
