We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Application Analyst, Research & Education to join Houston Methodist's growing team. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have an aptitude for learning the intricacies of complex information systems and staying up to date on the latest technology. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications and systems for research and education
- Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure proper system design and implementation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot issues
- Develop and enforce standards for system development, implementation, and maintenance
- Train and mentor other application analysts in the organization
- Stay current on the latest technologies and trends in the field
- Develop processes and procedures to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of applications and systems
- Manage projects and coordinate activities with other departments
