- Lead and manage a team of application analysts to support and enhance the cardiology applications at Houston Methodist.
- Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cardiology applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cardiology applications with other systems and workflows.
- Develop and maintain project plans for implementing new features and updates to cardiology applications.
- Train and mentor team members on new technologies and processes related to cardiology applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cardiology applications.
- Analyze and optimize cardiology workflows to improve efficiency and patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between the cardiology department and IT department, communicating any issues or concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cardiology technology, and make recommendations for implementation.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and implement updates to cardiology applications.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for cardiology applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cardiology applications, providing guidance and support to other departments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the cardiology application team.
- Ensure data integrity and security of cardiology applications and patient information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Application Support And Implementation, With A Focus On Cardiology Core Systems.
Prior Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role, With The Ability To Manage And Lead A Team Of Analysts.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiology Core Applications, Such As Emr, Pacs, And Ecg Management Systems.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Clinical Staff, It Teams, And Vendors.
