Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and timely process insurance claims for physician services.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to billing and insurance.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, billing practices, and ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
4. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment of claims and identify and address any billing discrepancies.
5. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service.
6. Analyze, interpret, and document patient records to ensure accurate coding and billing.
7. Generate and review reports to ensure accuracy of billing and collections.
8. Identify and implement strategies to improve billing processes and maximize reimbursement.
9. Assist with the preparation and submission of electronic claims.
10. Maintain detailed and organized records of all claims and payments.
