Job Description

Houston Methodist is now hiring for an Infectious Disease Physician to join our diverse and dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are looking for a highly qualified, compassionate, and experienced individual who is eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients.This position requires a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school, as well as completion of an approved residency program in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Candidates must have an active and unrestricted physician license in the state of Texas, and must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat infectious diseases using evidence-based medical protocols.
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  4. Educate patients and their families about their condition and the steps needed for long-term care and prevention.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in infectious disease treatments.
  7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols.
  8. Participate in research projects related to infectious diseases.
  9. Participate in continuing medical education courses and other professional development activities.
