Job Description

Are you an experienced Grant Specialist looking to shape the future of healthcare? Houston Methodist is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented professional to join our Grants Administration team as a Grant Specialist. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our organization by managing and facilitating grant-related activities.To be successful in this role, you should have experience in grant writing, funding research, and proposal development. Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities.

• Develop grant proposals and applications.

• Prepare budgets for grant applications.

• Monitor grant progress and compliance.

• Submit reports to funding agencies and manage deadlines.

• Develop and maintain relationships with grantors.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure grant compliance.

• Track and analyze grant data.

• Prepare grant reports and monitor grant performance.

• Develop strategies for grant sustainability.

• Maintain up-to-date records of grants and grant applications.

• Stay abreast of changes in grant funding policies and procedures.
