Food Services Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Food Services Assistant to join our team at Houston Methodist! This position requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will assist in providing superior service to our customers and ensure that all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are met.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of food service experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people. Responsibilities for Food Services Assistant:

1. Prepare food items in accordance with established recipes and methods.
2. Assist in ensuring that all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are met.
3. Monitor food inventory levels and order items as necessary.
4. Serve customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
5. Provide excellent customer service.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
7. Assist with food preparation as needed.
8. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
9. Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.
10. Assist in training new staff members.
