Job Description

Houston Methodist is seeking a motivated and experienced Endocrinologist to join our growing team. We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about providing quality patient care, possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills, and is committed to continued professional development. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong knowledge base in endocrinology and be able to work independently to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the endocrine system. If you are a skilled and experienced Endocrinologist with a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you! Required Qualifications: • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency and fellowship training in endocrinology• Board certification in endocrinology• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas• At least 3 years of experience as an Endocrinologist• Demonstrated knowledge base in endocrinology and its treatment• Excellent communication and teamwork skills• Commitment to continued professional development

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the endocrine system.
  2. Provide quality patient care.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  4. Maintain current certification in endocrinology.
  5. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on endocrinology topics.
  6. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
  7. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  8. Prescribe medications as appropriate for endocrine disorders.
  9. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
