Job Description

At Houston Methodist, we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Echo Sonographer to join our team! Above all, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients.The required qualifications for this role include a minimum of two years of experience as an Echo Sonographer, as well as a current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform high-quality cardiac sonography procedures on patients
  2. Utilize strong patient care skills to ensure patient safety and comfort
  3. Ensure that patient information is accurately documented and communicated to other healthcare professionals
  4. Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions with patients
  5. Follow all applicable safety protocols and regulations
  6. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Remain organized and reliable in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  8. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the echo sonography process
  9. Maintain a current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  10. Possess a minimum of two years of experience as an Echo Sonographer
