  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and success of the specialty pharmacy department.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the specialty pharmacy operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of specialty pharmacy services within the organization.
  4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of specialty pharmacy operations.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the specialty pharmacy services.
  6. Foster a culture of exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of specialty pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support to drive their professional development.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in specialty pharmacy to continuously improve services.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the specialty pharmacy department and other stakeholders, including physicians, insurance providers, and patients.
  11. Represent the organization at conferences and networking events to promote the specialty pharmacy services.
  12. Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
  13. Develop and manage relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and negotiate contracts for the procurement of specialty medications.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the specialty pharmacy services to potential patients and healthcare providers.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient and business information.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Pharmacy Operations, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy.

  • Board Certification In Specialty Pharmacy (Bcscp) Or Other Relevant Certifications.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Developing And Implementing Specialty Pharmacy Programs, Including Management Of High-Cost Medications And Specialty Patient Populations.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Current Healthcare Landscape, Including Regulatory And Compliance Requirements Related To Specialty Pharmacy Services.
