- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for revenue cycle informatics and education at Houston Methodist.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of revenue cycle informatics and education, including technology, training, and staff development.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue cycle optimization.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of informatics and education professionals, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle informatics and education, and implement innovative ideas to drive operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the revenue cycle department, promoting a high level of expertise and knowledge among staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, IT, and clinical departments, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Evaluate and implement revenue cycle software and systems, and provide ongoing support and training to end users.
- Monitor and analyze revenue cycle data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to leadership for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to revenue cycle informatics and education.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle informatics and education, providing guidance and support to leadership and staff as needed.
- Represent Houston Methodist at industry conferences and events to showcase our revenue cycle informatics and education initiatives and share best practices with others in the field.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Revenue Cycle Management And/Or Healthcare Informatics.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Billing And Coding Processes, As Well As Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance.
Proven Leadership Skills, With Experience Managing And Developing A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders Across The Organization.
