1. Develop and implement strategic plans for quality improvement and patient outcomes across all departments and levels of the organization.
2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Quality & Outcomes department, including budget, staffing, and performance evaluations.
3. Collaborate with other leaders and departments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to quality and patient outcomes.
5. Develop and maintain quality improvement processes and procedures, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
6. Lead and facilitate quality improvement initiatives and projects, utilizing evidence-based practices and benchmarking data.
7. Provide guidance and support to department leaders and staff in implementing quality improvement strategies and initiatives.
8. Serve as a resource for staff and leaders on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
9. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations, such as accrediting bodies and quality improvement collaboratives.
11. Communicate and report on quality and outcomes data to stakeholders, including leadership, staff, patients, and external organizations.
12. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in quality improvement and patient outcomes, and proactively make recommendations for improvement.
13. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
14. Participate in relevant committees and task forces to represent the organization's quality and outcomes goals and initiatives.
15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
