Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our Ob/Gyn Research team at Houston Methodist. This individual will have a passion for data-driven research and a dedication to improving the quality of care for women's health.The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter and results-oriented professional with strong technical and analytical skills, with a background in healthcare, data science, and/or Ob/Gyn research. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an interdisciplinary team environment, as well as independently to efficiently manage multiple research projects.To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills, a drive to stay updated on the latest research and technologies, and a desire to positively impact women's healthcare. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop data-driven research projects to improve the quality of women's healthcare.
  2. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and analyze data trends.
  3. Manage multiple research projects and track progress.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest research and technologies related to Ob/Gyn research.
  5. Collaborate and coordinate with other research team members to meet project objectives.
  6. Present findings and results to stakeholders.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  8. Create models to analyze data and identify key insights.
  9. Utilize statistical techniques and data mining methods to uncover trends and patterns in the data.
  10. Develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
