Job Description

We are currently searching for a passionate and experienced Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator to join our team at Houston Methodist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of all CME activities. This is an opportunity to be part of a world-class institution and to support our mission to provide exceptional care to our community.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in Continuing Education, healthcare or related field. You must have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Previous experience in an academic medical center is preferred.In this role, you will be expected to develop and implement CME programs that meet the educational needs of physicians, clinicians and other healthcare professionals. Your enthusiasm and commitment to providing quality education will be an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement CME programs to meet the educational needs of physicians, clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
  2. Lead and coordinate all CME activities.
  3. Create and manage CME budgets.
  4. Develop and implement educational activities that are compliant with ACCME guidelines.
  5. Monitor CME activities to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  6. Maintain and update CME records.
  7. Develop and coordinate CME events and webinars.
  8. Create and distribute CME materials, such as brochures and flyers.
  9. Monitor and evaluate CME programs to ensure quality.
  10. Collaborate with other CME staff and departments to ensure successful CME programs.
  11. Stay up-to-date with new education trends and best practices.
  12. Provide administrative support for CME activities.
