Job Description

We are looking for a talented and driven Community Outreach Program Manager- Grants Administration to join the Houston Methodist team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader, committed to working with diverse stakeholders to ensure our grants administration processes are efficient, effective, and in compliance with all regulations.The successful applicant will be a highly organized professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This person will need to have a solid understanding of grant management processes and procedures, as well as knowledge of the principles of non-profit management. A successful candidate will also possess the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies to advance the mission of the organization and its partners.Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field, and at least two years' experience in a grants administration role. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement innovative strategies to advance the mission of the organization and its partners.
  2. Manage the process of grant administration and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  3. Monitor grant timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Create and manage grant applications and budgets.
  6. Analyze grant data and provide reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Provide guidance and support to staff on grant management processes.
  8. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of grant funds.
  9. Develop and present grant proposals to potential funders.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of grant and non-profit management trends.
