Job Description

We are hiring a Clinical Research Nurse - Structural Heart at Houston Methodist to join our dynamic and collaborative research team. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse who is passionate about patient care and research. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, current registered nurse license in the State of Texas, and experience in cardiovascular research. The Clinical Research Nurse - Structural Heart will be a part of the cardiovascular research team and will be responsible for all aspects of clinical research. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate structural heart clinical research activities and ensure all research procedures are conducted in accordance with relevant protocols and regulations.
  2. Monitor patient progress, document data, and provide feedback and education to patients and families.
  3. Develop and implement research protocols and data collection tools.
  4. Maintain accurate records and patient information.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with referring physicians and other stakeholders.
  6. Participate in research meetings and seminars to stay up to date on the latest developments in structural heart research.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  8. Provide education and training to other members of the research team.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  10. Monitor patient safety and report any adverse events.
