Clinical Psychologist

The Houston Methodist is looking for a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This role requires an individual with a passion for providing excellent patient care, a dedication to professional development, and the interpersonal skills necessary to build meaningful relationships with patients. We are looking for someone with a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university and at least three years of experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in evidence-based treatments and possess excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Our Clinical Psychologist will also have a strong commitment to helping individuals cope with psychological issues, including mental health disorders, and be able to collaborate with other mental health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families to provide high-quality psychotherapy services.
2. Leverage evidence-based treatments and diagnostic methods to effectively assess and diagnose patients.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health services.
4. Help patients cope with mental health disorders and other psychological issues.
5. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment methods.
6. Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
7. Remain current on best practices in the field of psychology and mental health.
8. Adhere to the standards of professional practice and ethics outlined by the American Psychological Association.
