
Clinical Psychologist
The Houston Methodist is looking for a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This role requires an individual with a passion for providing excellent patient care, a dedication to professional development, and the interpersonal skills necessary to build meaningful relationships with patients. We are looking for someone with a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university and at least three years of experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in evidence-based treatments and possess excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Our Clinical Psychologist will also have a strong commitment to helping individuals cope with psychological issues, including mental health disorders, and be able to collaborate with other mental health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families to provide high-quality psychotherapy services.
- Leverage evidence-based treatments and diagnostic methods to effectively assess and diagnose patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health services.
- Help patients cope with mental health disorders and other psychological issues.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment methods.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Remain current on best practices in the field of psychology and mental health.
- Adhere to the standards of professional practice and ethics outlined by the American Psychological Association.
