- Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care outcomes and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and manage drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Maintain and review medication order records to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers to negotiate pricing and availability of medications.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Stay up-to-date on new medications and therapies, and educate staff on changes and updates.
- Investigate and resolve any medication errors or adverse drug reactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees to improve patient care.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to provide medication therapy recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of pharmacy operations and patient care.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee satisfaction.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid State Pharmacy License.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Pharmacy Setting, With At Least 2 Years In A Management Or Leadership Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills.
